Introduction to Elements of Mathematics – 2019 Summer Registration

Welcome to Project MEGSSS’ Elements of Mathematics registration page! Students must qualify to enter the program. Qualifying exams are held March 30, April 13 and April 17. We encourage parents to register students for the summer introduction to the Elements program prior to testing. (If a student does not qualify for the Elements program, tuition will be refunded or may be applied to summer classes in MathJam19, which runs concurrently).

The following summer options are offered to qualified Elements students:

  • Session 1: June 10–21 at St. John Vianney High School, Kirkwood, 1311 S. Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood from 8:30AM to 4PM Half-day (8:30AM – 11:30 AM  or 12:30PM – 3:45PM) sessions are available, or you may make a full-day by registering for a morning and afternoon session.
  • Session 2: July 8–19 at Christian Brothers College High School, 1850 De La Salle Drive, Town and Country from 8:30AM to 4PM Half-day (8:30AM – 11:30AM or 12:30PM – 3:45PM) sessions are available, or you may make a full-day by registering for a morning and afternoon session.
  • Logic Bootcamps (ages 11-13) (Location TBA): offered May 28-31 and July 29-August 2, mornings only, provided minimum enrollment requirements are met. This session includes an intensive introduction to formal logic. Students must qualify by testing for the Elements program. This course is available to qualified students who are unable to attend the Elements summer program.

Registration Options
Students typically register for the full-day program, which includes the Intro to Elements course followed by After Math in the afternoon. Alternatively, for those who prefer a more academic schedule, students may register for one of the 6th grade MathJam courses in the morning, followed by the afternoon session of Intro to Elements. All of these courses are highly recommended on their own merits as summer enrichment for high-talent math students and are pre-requisites for future higher-level summer MathJam courses.

Please note, no exceptions will be made to the following policy: students who complete only the Logic Bootcamp and decide to enroll in our after-school Elements of Mathematics program in the fall will need to first successfully complete an additional online course entitled Operational Systems (available at – a fee applies). For more details, please contact

Before and After Care
For Sessions 1 and 2, before care begins at 7:30AM, and after care ends at 5:30PM. No before or after care will be available for Logic Bootcamps. Please register separately for before/after care at this page.

Access to Financial Aid
Project MEGSSS provides financial aid for summer students, although there will usually be some family contribution. You may indicate a need for financial aid when filling out one of the registration forms which are linked below.
